Back to Personal Blog Written on 15-Mar-2008 by asquiThis guy does this day in and day out, so he seemed pretty unphased about reversing the car with the front-left tire pushed off the rim and splintered plastic scraping along the ground, onto a platform with about 2 inches of spare room on each side. I suppose you'd have to be in a more sticky situation to raise his brow... like having your car lying upside-down, submerged in a running stream, or something like that.
They did ask me some questions about the condition of the car and whether it could be rolled onto the truck, so I'm sure that if I had said it was lying upside down in a stream they would probably have just brought a differently equipped truck or something. These people are professionals!

I did call the woman who caused the damage, but I just took down her insurance details and thought it better not get into the "what on earth were you doing?!" I suspect she may have been manoeuvring and confused forward gear for reverse gear and/or the accelerator for the brake...
